Overall Survival : -With the advent of tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), the overall survival rate for CML patients has improved dramatically. Today, most CML patients can expect to live a normal lifespan. -For example, the 5-year overall survival (OS) rate for CML patients with TKI therapy is now over 90%. The 10-year OS rate is 85-90%. -However, the overall survival rate for CML patients can still be affected by a number of factors, including the patient's age at diagnosis, the type of TKI used, and the presence of any other medical conditions.
