Neighbors are the heartbeat of a community, the pillars of support we can always rely on. 🏡 This Saturday, let's come together as a community and lend a helping hand to our neighbors who may need a little extra support. It is incredible how much of an impact small acts of kindness can have on someone’s day! → Offer to mow their lawn or gather leaves from their yard - simple gestures can make a big difference. → Prepare a home-cooked meal and drop it off at their doorstep to brighten up their day. → Help with grocery shopping or errands for those who may find it challenging to get out. → Check in on elderly neighbors for a friendly chat and some companionship. → Share information about local resources they might benefit from, such as food banks or community programs. 🎄 The True Spirit of Christmas: Giving, Caring, and Sharing 🎄 Just because someone doesn’t have a home doesn’t mean they aren’t someone’s parent, child, or friend.✨ Yesterday, I was reminded of the magic of Christmas from my own childhood. Like many of you, I grew up watching Kevin Home Alone 2: Kevin lost in New York. Do you remember the kind-hearted pigeon lady in Central Park? She helped Kevin when he needed it most, and what did he do? He shared his Christmas joy with her—a simple act of kindness that brought tears to her eyes. It’s a powerful reminder: the world around us is our world. It’s our responsibility to care, to notice, and to act. Some people don’t have a family, a home, or friends. But they’re still human—just like you and me—and they deserve love and respect. That’s why I’m so proud that I had the chance to join, with 12 partners from UPS an amazing community involvement to support the #WeihnachtenZuhause initiative led by Daniel-John Riedl 🦋 , founder of #TUES. Together, we created over 170 heartfelt postcards to bring warmth and hope to those experiencing homelessness this season.🙏 Let’s be the change we want to see. True meaning isn't in hedonistic happiness, but in responsibility and sacrifice. Since 1960, we've promoted hedonistic happiness and individual rights, but true meaning lies in responsibility. Embrace sacrifice and maturity for a noble character and a strong community. It's about dedicating yourself to causes that have a lasting impact. For example, raising a family, supporting your friends, or advocating for justice. These sacrifices foster connections and purpose. We're talking about what will benefit us in the future. Clearly, something needs to be changed if we want to avoid unnecessary conflicts. In the end, that's the only way to maintain peace among ourselves and within ourselves. We're not meant to do this alone. If you identify yourself as a helper, how are you at getting help and support when you need it? I'm constant work in progress on this front! So I remind myself of 2 things: 1.) If you want others to ask for help, lead by example! 2.) Having somebody trust you enough to ask you for help is a gift. Be sure to give others the same gift. We are not isolated into the category of helpers or those who need help, we are both. #help #peoplepleasing #community

Giving Tuesday 💙   It was Giving Tuesday yesterday, an awareness date and a global generosity movement that celebrates and encourages doing good. There is a lack of empathy in the world, and we all need more compassion and connection in our lives.     On their website there are numerous examples of how individuals and communities across the globe are actively using generosity for positive change, such as creative community gardens or care-mongering.     But giving can also be on a smaller, everyday scale. Thinking about all the things that we like to receive such as love, gratitude, support, laughter, help etc., how can we give these to those around us – our colleagues, friends, children, parents.
