Your VISION may end up only as a dream if you are not conscious of this.
I spoke at an event last Saturday and a question was raised regarding how to keep up with changing demands in line with our VISIONS & PASSIONS.
Firstly, we have to understand that as we go in life, we will unavoidably encounter different phases and seasons in our journeys.
Each of these seasons requires a new kind of CAPACITY to launch you into the next phase of your life.
Without the right capacity, you'll place a limit on yourself and only create visions/dreams but never find expression.
So, to fulfill your vision, you must become intentional about building the CAPACITY needed to navigate every season of your journey.
To handle changing demands in your journey, your capacity must level up to match the current demands in the marketplace.
Here are practical steps you can implement:
1. When you have the vision to run with, have it documented on a vision board. This will constantly remind you of where you are headed.
2. Break down every vision into achievable goals and segment goals into time-based objectives.
3. Different seasons require different skills, access, relationships, and knowledge base. Be sensitive to the times and seasons you are in.
4. Be open to upskilling and investing in your growth in all areas necessary.
5. Leverage mentorship. It is easier to see through the eyes of those who have gone ahead of you on the path you want to tread.
Remember, fulfillment can only be derived when you translate your visions and passions into achievable goals with practical objectives. It makes your journey worthwhile.
