In an era where online privacy is increasingly under threat, users are seeking out tools that prioritize their security and freedom. One such solution gaining traction is the Brave browser, equipped with a built-in ad blocker. Unlike conventional browsers, Brave offers a refreshing approach by prioritizing user privacy while simultaneously enhancing browsing speed and efficiency. At the heart of Brave's appeal is its commitment to privacy. By default, Brave blocks invasive ads and trackers that invade users' digital spaces, thereby shielding them from the prying eyes of advertisers and data harvesters. This not only safeguards sensitive information but also prevents the annoying barrage of advertisements that often clutter web pages, providing a cleaner and more enjoyable browsing experience. Moreover, Brave's ad-blocking feature doesn't just benefit users—it also benefits content creators. Through the Brave Rewards program, users can opt to support their favorite websites and creators by rewarding them with Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) for the content they consume. This innovative model fosters a more equitable relationship between users, creators, and advertisers, empowering individuals to take control of their online experiences.Aside from its privacy-centric features, Brave is renowned for its speed and efficiency. By blocking resource-intensive ads and trackers, Brave significantly accelerates page loading times, allowing users to navigate the web swiftly and seamlessly. This optimization is particularly beneficial for mobile users, as it conserves data and prolongs battery life, making browsing on-the-go a hassle-free experience. In conclusion, the combination of Brave browser and its integrated ad blocker represents a compelling solution for those seeking enhanced online privacy and security. By prioritizing user control and fostering a more equitable online ecosystem, Brave is leading the charge towards a safer, more empowering internet experience for all.

FUTURE READY MINDSET ACTIVATOR + SPEAKER, stretching comfort zones, sparking positive change, and creating your brighter future. Are you ReadyAlready™? 🚀
LinkedIn used to have a groovy "Find Nearby" feature that allowed you to connect with other users within Bluetooth reach of your phone. It was awesome at conferences and events because you could instantly see who was in the room and connect with just a click. Sadly, LinkedIn quietly removed this feature a few years ago and never explained why. There's an alternative, though. When you want to connect on LinkedIn with someone you meet, your quickest option is to share your unique QR code. To find this, click the Search bar in your LinkedIn app (phone or tablet, not on a PC), then tap the odd-looking box icon on the right. This will open your LinkedIn QR code page, which you can then either show to your new friends or tap on 'Scan' to allow you to read someone else's barcode. It's a neat feature for those times when you meet new professionals who you'd like to stay in touch with. Much easier than exchanging business cards at least! Give it a spin.

The LinkedIn algorithm. It's constantly evolving to improve user experience and engagement on the platform. Here's some of the recent trends & changes you should be aware of if interested in growing your network, reach, and engagement. ▶ Content from company pages, especially those that actively engage with their followers, are given more prominence. ▶ Increased promotion of high-quality long-form written content. Those with images fare even better. ▶ LinkedIn is placing more emphasis on groups and communities, promoting content that fosters group discussions and networking. Take some time to research and join some LinkedIn groups. ▶ LinkedIn's algo continues to place increased emphasis on content that generates meaningful interactions. Posts that receive multiple sentence comments are more likely to be shown in the feed's of your followers. ▶ The platform encourages authentic and transparent interactions, penalizing spammy or misleading content. If your sole LinkedIn strategy is lazy promotion of your company or something you're selling, your posts are highly unlikely to fare well. ▶ Sponsored content and ads are now more closely matched to user interests and behaviors, improving ad targeting. LinkedIn has spent a lot of time & energy in the past year to yield better performance for people that engage in sponsored campaigns. Sponsored content has been an absolute game-changer for clients of mine. You can target content to just be shown to people with certain job titles, that work for certain companies, that live in a particular geographic region ... and more. Or combinations of these factors.
