This week I had the pleasure of traveling to AllianceBernstein's London office to meet our EMEA colleagues. While I was there, I was able to sit down with EMEA CFO Joanna Green and present to our #EMEA business. We discussed my career journey to AB, my first six months at the company and my strategy for the firm moving forward. I always enjoy being in London - I lived there for ten years so it's always a pleasure being back!
#ABGivesBack AB San Antonio recently volunteered at Morgan's Wonderland, helping with gardening and maintaining the grounds. Morgan's Wonderland is the world's first theme park designed for individuals with special needs. The park has over 25 wheelchair-accessible elements, including rides, playgrounds, and other colorful attractions. This is AB San Antonio's fifth time volunteering at the park, marking their continued commitment to their community.
“We still have some sticky components especially on the services side and that is going to take time to move down,” he said. “We don’t see us getting back to the Fed target until 2025," AllianceBernstein's Head of Fixed Income Scott Dimaggio told The Wall Street Journal. Today, AllianceBernstein announced Andrew Chin has been named the firm’s first-ever Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer. As an AB operating committee member with a 27-year career at the firm, Mr. Chin was previously AB’s Head of Quantitative Research and Chief Data Scientist, and prior to that, served as Chief Risk Officer for over a decade. “Andrew’s appointment to this new position recognizes our firm’s progress with AI and its future potential,” said AB’s Chief Operating Officer Karl Sprules. “As AI continues to play a critical and transformative role in enhancing AB’s investment-research, operational and business procedures, and improving efficiencies across our corporate functions, we look forward to having an industry veteran like Andrew lead our firm into the future in this newly created role.” To read more: https://lnkd.in/gagxBFDC
