Bombay Stock Exchange 2.Khadi and Village Industries Commission 3.Kotak Education Foundation 4.Akshaya Chaitanya Nurturing hope Just had an incredible visit to BSEIndia, Asia's First Stock Exchange and the World's Fastest Stock Exchange with an astonishing speed of 6 microseconds! # The Indian investing scene is transforming at a remarkable pace. Witnessed the growth firsthand as Demat accounts surged from 5.23Cr in March 2022 to a whopping 13.8Cr in August 2023. That's a surge of 8Cr accounts, with a striking 80% belonging to individuals aged 21 to 28. Constituted as an apex body under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to help plan, promote, facilitate, organize and aid in the development of Khadi and village industries in rural India. Schemes under KVIC: 1. Khadi Vikas Yojana (KVY) 2. Gramadyog Vikas Yojana (GVY) 3. Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) 4. Rural Engineering New Technology Industry (RENTI) 5. Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURIT) ✓ Supply of raw materials and their implementations ✔ Formation of common services facilities for processing raw materials that include semi-furnished goods, Promoting the sale and marketing of products ✔Providing financial assistance to individuals KEF was set up in FY2006-07 with a purpose to support children and youth from underprivileged families through different education based interventions on a sustainable basis. KEF's interventions are designed to empower recipients and provide employable skills, which will enable them to lead a dignified life. KEF provides livelihood support to children and youth from Below the Poverty Line (BPL) families in Mumbai, Thane and Raigad regions. KEF is Kotak Group's primary vehicle to implement its CSR Programme on Education and Livelihood. On its part, KEF has been building capacities to scale up its social work to meet Kotak Group's increasing CSR requirement. KEF has put in place a robust management, governance and audit framework. As an NGO in Mumbai, Akshaya Chaitanya attempts to make food accessible to the needy across Mumbai by serving them hot, nutritious, locally palatable meals prepared at our very own state-of-the-art FSSAI compliant kitchen. And by doing so, we want to enable people to explore the unlimited opportunities around them, an aspect that gets muted when the stomach screams for food.
