Custom filter 01/02 One feature the client really wanted was a customizable filter for users to tailor preffered investment with different indicies that makes up investment opportunities. My next video would show the interactions after implementing the filter component i built with the design.

Excited to share our recent academic project—a redesign concept for Rico, an investment and stocks app targeting a young audience. Developed in collaboration with Erica Bentes, this study aims to transform the investment process into an inclusive experience for investors at all levels. 📊 Research & Analysis: Comprehensive desk research, competitor analysis, and user interviews were conducted. Three personas were developed—beginner, intermediate, and advanced investors—focusing primarily on the intermediate user to understand needs across all levels. 🎯 Prioritization with DVF Matrix: The DVF matrix was used to prioritize features, ensuring strategic resource allocation and a user-centered design approach. ✨ New Comparison Feature: A powerful comparison feature was introduced, allowing users to easily compare investment options side by side, with the intent of simplifying informed decision-making. 🎨 Design System Revamp: The color palette was modernized to a contemporary purple and refined orange tint. Typography was updated to a clean sans-serif font for better readability, aiming to align with young users' preferences. 📈 Value Proposition: This project demonstrates the potential of thoughtful design to enhance user experience and business value. The redesign concept showcases innovative, user-focused solutions in the financial sector.
