Back in 2011 I started on a journey, one that saw me investing considerable time in the practice of out-of-body-exploration (OBE), or astral projection as it is also referred. This was an interest that stemmed from an extremely inquisitive childhood, where I was avidly interested in all things paranormal, and as an adult I decided to make that investment in search of questions about life, purpose, the universe and more. During my OBE practice I used a wake-back-to-bed technique, coupled with meditation and a little bit of technology. The technology was something called Hemi-Sync, more often referred to as Binaural Beats today. Little did I know that this technology was my introduction to brainwave entrainment, and I could/should call it destiny when I reflect on my journey during the last 15 years…! As part of my practice, I also immersed myself in literature about OBEs and started to create a bookshelf of material that remains with me today. Of note, is the material that came from Robert Monroe, which for those who may be unaware was a pioneer in the space, unfortunately no longer with us today. His work for me was pivotal, not only because he brought OBEs into the “mainstream” but because he understood the importance of his work to humanity in expanding consciousness beyond the everyday, and in the 1970’s saw him setup The Monroe Institute, today it’s just Monroe Institute. Since founding some 50+ years ago, they have extensively studied human consciousness, developing technologies which they refer to as Monroe Sound Science, and have served the world with educational programmes to enable individuals, healthcare professionals, educators, and researchers alike, to attain skills in their personal and professional practices. And so, to today and the news… Since the back end of 2023 we (roXiva) have been working extensively with an organisation that to be perfectly honest has maintained a huge smile on my face, and the teams, and so I think it’s about time we show our smile. I am thrilled to announce that the incredible team at roXiva has formed a partnership with Monroe Institute, where we will unite Monroe Sound Science with roXiva, in the development of holistic tools for the expansion of human potential.
