FEEL GOOD FRIDAY: TL;DR: Hyperice and the PGA TOUR have come a really long way together. And we are only just getting started. When I met Jason Stodelle MSPT, ATC, OCS for the first time on the PGA TOUR at the American Express in 2017, we were in a small RV dedicated to physio services for the players. I left behind our orginal Vyper 1 roller, a green Hypersphere and a stack of my business cards. Very quickly, players were texting weekly, “Hey, I got your number from the truck, can I buy…” and we were off to the races. Little did I know that my friends at Normatec had been doing the same thing (shout out: Dan Canina, Andrew Reed and Brendan Bergson). Since our partnership officially launched in 2020, the Tour has continued to up their Player Care initiative at every tournament. It’s a full wellness compound, including at least one gym, the physio/chiro truck, and, new this year, the Player Recovery Center (more Hyperice, cold plunge, and saunas). Every player now has access to everything they need to maintain, strengthen and recover right there on site. And we’re not stopping there, we have launched Caddie Recovery rooms this year at a growing number of tournaments. They’re a massive hit ( 👊🏻 Jake Newman). We have been lucky to be a part of this incredible transformation week in and week out over the last 7 years.
