📌 Why I Don’t Share a Lot About 'Launching' Your Book Launching your book is important, but if you don’t write it well, even a well-planned launch won’t help. Why? Most people buy books recommended by someone they know, like, and trust. This means that if your initial readers don’t enjoy and get value from your book, they won’t recommend it. And if they don't recommend it, your sales will dry up as soon as all the launch hype is over. That’s why I first focus on helping aspiring authors write their books well. I tell them it’s not enough to write what you like or what you ‘think’ your readers would enjoy. A well-written book in my books is one that: → Spotlights your expertise → Solves your readers' problems → Stirs them to tell others about your book, and → Strategically grows your brand If you’re unsure your book can do all these, it’s best to hold off on your book launch and get the expert guidance you need to improve your manuscript before it’s published.
