Black History Month was in February, but for us, it's been an ongoing effort to donate to worthy organizations each month to continue in the discovery, support, honor, and celebration of Black communities in America. Over the last six months, as promised, we've donated to many organizations – some directly linked to the preservation and remembrance of Black history and some for the future of it. June and July organizations focus on systemic improvements for the future of generations to come. June: The Innocence Project (https://lnkd.in/g28vYW4) - Working to free the innocent, prevent wrongful convictions, and fight for equitable justice systems for all. July: Black Youth Project (https://lnkd.in/dTqb-jJ) - Cyber-resource center for black youth and those committed to enriching their lives. As a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) focused company, this campaign has been important to show our support for racial equality in hopes that these donations help make impactful changes.

Today marks the anniversary of Hurricane Michael's devastating landfall in Florida (2018), and eerily, Hurricane Milton made landfall last night into the early hours of today, exactly 6 years later. While the regions hardest hit are different, both storms shared intense winds, rapid intensification, and widespread destruction. #TeamACDC is proud of our response and recovery efforts for Michael, and now, we are fully engaged in Milton's response efforts. The State of Florida has shown unwavering dedication and resilience, standing strong through unprecedented challenges, including back to back hurricanes this past month. The tireless dedication of the first responders, emergency managers, contractors, non-profits, and so many other imperative service organizations has been a cornerstone of community resilience through even the most severe events. #Preparedness #Resilience #Response #Recovery #EmergencyManagement #FloridaStrong
