We all create the perfect Christmas movie in our heads — perfect actors, perfect plot. But when reality hits, the actors don’t show up on time or forget their lines. 🙄 My advice? Dial down the expectations. Less focus on the perfect script and more on enjoying the moment. The less you expect, the more you’ll be pleasantly surprised. ✨ Let go of the movie in your head and embrace reality. It’s always better that way. #ChristmasExpectations #ExpectLess #HolidayJoy #LetItGo #relationshipadvice

The hard work a movie celebrity often claims to have put in for their success can be examined more closely. Let’s take, for example, an actor who began his career in 1976 and, by 2024, has acted in 170 movies. If the call sheet for each movie spans no more than 20 days, the actor would have worked a total of 3,400 days over 48 years (equivalent to 17,520 days). When you calculate the percentage, it reveals that the actor worked an average of just 70 days per year out of the 365 days in a year.

1moThis is footage from Real Genius, a 1985 film directed by Martha Coolidge. A terrific movie about brainy college students outsmarting a greedy professor.
