Everyone involved needs to play their part to ensure they understand and are understood. In this recording, a Brazilian crew is approaching Boston, USA. Some thoughts: 🟧 The Brazilian pilot seems very hesitant. Based on this short recording, I would be surprised if his English meets the ICAO Language Proficiency Requirements. 🟧 The Boston approach controller does his best to support the pilot and adjusts his language to try and help (even though his speech does become noticeably faster at 1:17) 🟧 At 2:53 the controller says” Possible pilot deviation. I have a phone number when you are ready”. We hear this a lot in the US. Is it the same in the rest of the world? Saying this *while* the pilot is on approach seems to me like it would add further stress to a pilot who is already struggling. What are your thoughts? P.S. Chopin etude is a song called piano textbooks and is an essential course for piano students, majors, and pianists. In other words, it is in the most basic and important position in the piano major. The reasons why Chopin's etude is so important are as follows. First, it is a practice song of Chopin, a pianist who achieved a major innovation in piano technology in the Romantic era, so it contains important techniques in piano. Second, it is a musical performance that is both a practice song. The genre of etude, that is, a practice song, existed before Chopin as a practice stage for playing other songs. However, Chopin instilled the musical aspect as well as the value as a practice song through his genius of practice songs, which were merely mechanical practice. Thanks to this, Chopin's etude gained value as an independent song and became a song that could be presented to a concert.
