Administration professionals are what businesses need. Management has proven to be a profession that can lead to a successful career. A professional administrator should be capable of assisting your business in achieving its goals and helping it grow. They can aid in project management, implementing changes, maintaining ongoing operations, enhancing processes, boosting sales, and managing many other aspects of a business. Indeed, anyone can learn to manage a project, and having a PMI certificate is beneficial, but a graduate administrator should have the foundational knowledge to understand and execute strategies much more quickly. This is because someone who has completed over 30 courses at university, learning all the necessary layers of management, who has passed over 60 tests assessing their knowledge, and who has collaborated with others studying the same subject to create works on specific aspects of a lecture, will comprehend guides built by other administrators like: 1. PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) 2. PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) 3. ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) 4. Agile Practice Guide 5. Lean Six Sigma Administrators are trained at university to understand the needs of a business and act upon them. To all my career colleagues, be proud of all the work that is done by administrators and know that even if you haven't heard of a specific guide, you will probably nod in agreement with the whole book or certification course because it is something you have already done or studied at some point in your career. Am I right? Let's discuss in the comments. #AdministrationProfessionals #BusinessManagement #ProjectManagement #ProfessionalDevelopment #CareerGrowth #ManagementSkills #BusinessStrategy

Grad Student @ University of Waterloo | PMP Certified | Process Engineering | Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Composites Canada Inc. | Ex- Head Quality Assurance & Control | Ex- Larsen & Toubro Limited
🎓 Proud to share that I have successfully completed two courses on Operation & Supply Chain Management and Project Management at the University of Waterloo, both taught by the exceptional Dr. Peter Carr. These courses have been transformative, providing a deep dive into various operating models such as Scientific Management, Agile Operating Systems, and Lean Operating Models. I have gained valuable insights into the future of digital transformation in operations, supply chain management, process improvement, and innovation. The comprehensive curriculum covered essential elements of SCM including purchasing, logistics management, vendor-managed inventory, and customer relationship management, all seamlessly integrated. A highlight of the learning experience was engaging in simulations from Harvard Business Publishing Education, including the SCM Simulation: Root Beer Game, Global SCM Simulation, and other Project Management Simulation. These simulations were incredibly detailed and provided practical, explanatory insights. The Project Management course further enriched my understanding of Project Management Methodologies, Project Leadership in both predictive and agile models, and the critical interaction between multidisciplinary departments such as design, supply chain, quality assurance & control, project planning, administration, HR, and plant & machinery. A huge thanks to Dr. Peter Carr for designing and delivering such impactful courses. Your guidance has strengthened the roots of my project management skills, equipping me to excel in any managerial role. Excited to apply these skills and knowledge in my future endeavors! 🚀 #OperationsManagement #SupplyChainManagement #ProjectManagement #DigitalTransformation #ContinuousImprovement #UniversityOfWaterloo #LifelongLearning
