It's time to properly say hiiiiii! 👀👋 I thought it was time to reintroduce myself (yes, I’ve done this before, but then I went quiet with my content, whoops! 🫣), and share a little more about what I actually do! I’m Georgia, the new Sales and Marketing Executive at Citizen Communication Ltd and so far, this role has been both challenging and exciting for me. To be honest, I’ve never been a fan of the typical "sales" persona, those persistent cold-callers with the negative stereotype. But in reality, there’s so much more to sales than that! What I am truly enjoying is connecting with our clients, learning about their exciting plans, and now, being in a position where I can actively contribute to their success. It’s not just about making sales for us. It’s about helping our clients achieve their goals with the best strategies and ideas, and that is what I love about working for a company that recognises this. A recent conference I attended struck a chord with me, and one statistic really stood out: "𝟕𝟗% 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒔 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒕 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒔." And the reason? A lack of nurturing. It’s so true! And we intend to keep doing that for many years to come 💪 This is the second week were we introduce one of our TerraRoc-Stars to you 👋 This week it´s Daniel Kastmans turn. Daniel works as Sales and Application engineer, in Sweden 🌍 1. Tell us about your time at TerraRoc. Daniel's answer: I started at TerraRoc in January this year, transitioning from Debe Flow Group. I was tasked with overseeing sales in Sweden, and I eagerly accepted. It was a challenge to dive into all the changes the company had undergone, but I developed a plan and set to work. I visited numerous clients and established new relationships, covering all offices in Sweden except Norrland, where my colleague Eric is based. Today, I have an extensive network of contacts and receive many inquiries. I also participated in three significant fairs: Foundation Day, Påldagen, and Euro Mine Expo, which led to many positive and interesting meetings. 2. Describe your "typical work day" at TerraRoc. Daniel's answer: I travel frequently for my job, which I really enjoy. My day typically involves planning customer visits and meeting with 1-3 clients per day. I also spend a lot of time on phone and email correspondence, responding to inquiries, and processing new customer leads. 3. What gives you the most joy and/or satisfaction in your work? Daniel's answer: I love building long-term relationships. Starting from scratch and seeing something grow is incredibly fulfilling. It's crucial to understand the people and businesses I visit, getting to know their operations and finding the right products for them. 4. What is the best thing about working at TerraRoc? Daniel's answer: We have a great team with diverse roles and experiences that we share with each other. There's excellent responsiveness and understanding within the team. If you need help, you get a quick response. Everyone is seen and included, fostering a strong group dynamic. Additionally, we have a lot of personal responsibility, which suits me well. 5. How do you prefer to spend a day off? Daniel's answer: I spend a lot of time on my farm in Järvsö. I enjoy paddling, fishing, hunting, and during winter, snowmobiling and skiing. The most important realization I had in my career in med sales is that success in this industry take more than just hard work and persistence. I used to think that putting in more hours is the only way to get better results, But after hitting a wall of burnout and lack of consistent achievement and performance, I realized that high-performing reps who are getting more than double or triple my results were doing things differently ❌️ They didn’t work twice as hard, ❌️ Didn’t put more hours ❌️ Didn’t have better products Instead they had the skills, tools, and systems to help sustain high levels of performance without burnout. If you think about the task of getting to the international space station, top performers are using SpaceX’s most recent tools and technology, while I’m using ladders! Here’s how you can put this into action; ✅️ Take inventory of your current systems and skills, are they effective and efficient? ✅️ Identify the bottle neck skills; the skills that if you master would make a huge difference in your performance and the level of success you experience. ✅️ Build your arsenal of skills one skill at a time to remove all the bottle necks and build a remarkable career.
