My questions were: 1. Longest increasing subsequence 📈 2. Change lower case letters of a string to upper case and vice versa 🔄 2. Communication Round 🗣️💬 - AI-based round to evaluate your English speaking and understanding of various accents. It's not an elimination round but it adds to your total score. Passed with flying colors! 🌈 3. Interview Round 🎤🤝 - A 20-minute session covering technical and HR questions, with a focus on problem identification and problem-solving skills. My involvement in organizing events like TEDxBITD and Hult Prize BIT Durg significantly helped me excel. My interview was relaxed, focusing more on current events than technicalities. Accenture Interview Experience for ASE role (On Campus - 2024 Batch) 📅 24 Oct 2023: Registered for Accenture on-campus drive 📅 09 Nov 2023: Tests conducted in college labs #Stage 1: Cognitive Assessment and Technical Assessment [90 Mins] Test consists of 90 MCQs to solve in 90 mins MCQs on English Ability (easy), Critical Thinking, Abstract Reasoning, MS Office, Pseudocode (mostly on Bitwise Operators AND, OR and XOR), and a few questions on Networking, Security, and Cloud. Allocate at least 35 mins to pseudocode Tip: Carry blank pages for rough work and be ready with binary numbers from 0 to 20 written on rough pages before starting the test. This will help you solving pseudocode questions faster. Immediately after completion of the assessment, I received an email that I cleared the 1st round and received the coding assessment link. #Stage 2: Coding Assessment [45 Mins] 2 (Easy-Medium LC difficulty level) Coding Questions were asked; I solved both. You may get an interview call even after solving just 1 question. Interview Experience for ASE Role at Accenture. I've posted other interview experiences like Amazon and PwC as well. In July 2023, I registered for an on-campus opportunity to interview for the Associate Software Engineer (ASE) role at Accenture. The selection process comprised four rounds, conducted between August and September 2023. #Round 1: Cognitive & Technical Assessment This elimination round took place in our college lab using the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) platform provided by HirePro. The assessment included 90 questions covering Quantitative Aptitude, English Ability, Reasoning, Pseudocode, Networking, Cloud, and MS Office. The duration was 90 minutes. Results were displayed on the screen within 5-7 minutes of completion, and those who qualified proceeded to the next round. #Round 2: Coding Assessment Immediately following the Cognitive & Technical Assessment, the Coding Assessment was activated for qualified candidates. This round consisted of two questions, rated as easy to medium. The first question involved Dynamic Programming which was counting stairs and the second question was 248 number . After passing this round, I received an email inviting me to the Communication Assessment round. #Round 3: Communication Assessment This non-elimination round evaluated various communication skills through a series of recorded responses. The assessment included six sections: Reading, Listening, Jumbled Sentences, Questions and Answers, Listening and Retelling, and Speaking on a Given Topic. The entire process took approximately 30 minutes. Within 2-3 days of completing this round, I received details for the final interview slot. #Round 4: Final Interview (Technical + HR) Held on September 5, 2023, this round lasted about 15-20 minutes and involved a mix of resume-based and situational questions: - Introduction - Project description and challenges faced - Future scope of the project - Key learnings from my internship beyond technical skills - Some situational questions - Handling failure - Conflict resolution - Discussion on three emerging technologies - Opportunity to ask questions On September 26, I was informed that I had been selected, followed by a Letter of Intent (LOI) email from Accenture. Hi all, 👋 I wanted to share an update regarding my career. After completing my studies at one of the top engineering colleges affiliated with Anna University, where I scored 80% in my academics, I applied to over 150 jobs. I was placed on-campus at Accenture and Elevant quickly joined after the interview, which meant I didn't attend college for my final year. After a year on the job, I went through an 8-month probation period as an intern. When I was offered a full-time position, I chose not to continue because the role they assigned me was not aligned with my interests. so I have reassign the job,I decided to pursue a career in my core IT field. During this period, I missed interviews with many top MNC companies. Before choosing a job, it's important to consider whether it is suitable for you. Coming from an IT background, I aimed to join top MNC companies. Despite my efforts, I wasn't shortlisted for many roles I applied for. Eventually, I attended interviews with IBM, HCL, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra. I received two offers with very good salaries and roles that matched my expectations. However, five months have passed and I have not yet been boarded due to the recession. Many people I know are working in different companies, feeling unsatisfied with their work. Despite the wait, I am still hopeful and trying to get into top MNCs. Many of my friends, who were also selected with very good packages at top MNCs, have been told that they will be onboard in 2025. We are from the 2023 engineering batch. Engineering is a highly demanding degree, and the subjects or syllabus are very tough, but we still managed to get good ranks. Post MBA from GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY , I never got a chance to step in my office. Work from home was going on and the only people I somehow got to know are my immediate team mates and my immediate seniors. The only people I felt I could approach. Last December, I finally stepped in the office for the first time. The experience was really overwhelming, Accenture gave me an aura to socialize, work and get to know about the versatility of the career people are opting for. I loved interacting with my seniors, everyone is so humble and helpful there. Now, I understand why they talk about #accenture and its work environment so much. People say they enjoy being at home, but I definitely would say Work from office is an emotion ❣️. You not only get to work but you get to socialize with a few best people around you.
