👍Your Satisfied Partner | ⭐English to Chinese Simplified Translator|🥇Marketing & Advertising Language Specialist | 🏆Hotel and Travel Localization Expert
What is the challenge for hotel and tourism translation? - Get the tone of voice. Here are my tips: ✅ Understand comprehensively about the brand’s mantra、history、strategy and target group ✅ Refer to the official website ✅ Active voice construction and wording ✅ Guide the reader via a clear call to action ✅ Always talk to the audience on the same level, never talk down ✅ Try to avoid industry jargon as much as possible; if jargon is necessary, make sure it’s understandable and accessible to anyone. ✅ Keep the use of imperatives to a minimum. We don’t want to seem like we’re barking orders or making demands of the audience. 💡 A little trick:for EN-CN simplified, we can refer to the CN traditional official website, and vice versa.

German and English to Italian Translator | Editor | Lifestyle & Beauty, Medcomms, Medical, Marketing, Travel & Tourism
Welcome to post 6/6 of my Travel Translation Tips! How a tourist translator draws Italian visitors to your site: ask your translator to run a test on your website Your online booking system may have come with a standard Italian language version. Perhaps you even had a custom system built to tailor your website buttons and text. If so, make sure your translator tests the booking process by pretending they are an Italian guest. This way, they can highlight any obstacles, and you’ll work together to make the process simple (and maybe even fun!). The last thing you want is to scare a potential guest away because they couldn’t figure out how to use your booking system. If you want to discover more tips, head to my blog post (link in the comments). German and English to Italian Translator | Editor | Lifestyle & Beauty, Medcomms, Medical, Marketing, Travel & Tourism
Welcome to post 4/6 of my Travel Translation Tips! How a tourist translator draws Italian visitors to your site: commission Italian FAQs and professional templates Once you have translated some—or all—parts of your website, you might start getting inquiries in Italian. However, you may not employ any Italian-speaking staff. Although you might be tempted to write a friendly reply and just run it through Google Translate, there’s a better way to impress your potential guests. Talk to your translator about frequently asked questions you receive. Then, prepare an online FAQ page, or—even better—ask your translator to prepare some handy templates for you! These could range from a general information request to a booking confirmation. This way, you’ll easily deal with everyday queries on your own. You’ll also save time and money and—most importantly—protect your reputation. What if an inquiry is unusual? That’s when your translator comes in handy. They’ll be able to explain its meaning and, after liaising with you, craft a polite reply that reflects your style. If you want to discover more tips, head to my blog post (link in the comments). 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥 𝗩𝗦 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗥 '𝘚𝘰, 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘴?' Short answer: Nope! I’m a translator, not an interpreter. 💁♀️ (I’m not a guide either, nor a tour operator. I want to stress this, since I was asked this by a couple of contacts). What’s the difference? It’s normal to get them confused. 🤔 Since I’ve been asked a few times, let’s see the difference. 𝗔𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀. 𝗜'𝗺 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿. 💻 ✍ I translate tourism materials, such as websites, brochures, leaflets, blog and social media posts, travel guides and travel itineraries, marketing materials for clients like hotels, resorts, tour operators, museums, art galleries, and so on. I adapt your contents for the Italian-speaking audience so that they can understand your offer and book with you. 🍍🚫 Your job is to craft genuine, memorable offers and ensure that your guests, clients, and groups have a great time and speak about their experience with a spark in their eyes. My job is to make this possible by helping you reach your potential Italian clients by translating the written contents that support your sales and marketing activities. 🤝 What happens next? 🔜 Well, prepare to get enquiries and bookings by the Italian tourists that are looking for ✨exactly✨ what you offer! Hope this helps have a clearer idea of what I do and how I can help 😊 ----- 💌 Do you have a tourism-related business and don’t have an Italian version of your contents yet? Get in touch and tell me about your project and brand! info@thewanderingtranslator.com Let's make your business Italian tourists' n.1 choice! 💻🥂🍍🚫 #italiantranslator #italiantranslation #tourismtranslator #tourismtranslation #hospitality #guestreview #hospitalitymarketing #guestsatisfaction #foodandbeverage
