Touchdown in Las Vegas! Reporting live from inside Licensing Expo 2024 and representing Carnival Cruise Line Entertainment! Looking forward to forging new connections and continuing the work to expand our portfolio of partners. In seeking new partnerships, intentionality and true alignment across brands is key. Cultivating partnerships that will yield new and exciting activations for our guests is paramount. That being said, it’s imperative to also be strategic and identify the “why.” Why do you perceive a particular brand or organization to be a good fit for a potential partnership with your company? What elements of the partnership would entice new consumers and repeat clientele? How can you innovate together within your respective industries? How can your collaboration drive increased revenue? How could said partnership positively impact your community and/or the bottom line? The aforementioned are just a few thought-starters, but, they provide a framework through which to target opportunities and allow me to start thinking about the partnership’s potential viability and scope. The Big Ten & the NCAA has decided that Michigan is guilty before the investigation is completed. It is no secret that both organizations are biased against UM and Coach Harbaugh. Compared to this situation the Big ten and the NCAA ignored the problems of abuse at MSU, PSU & consistent violations of OSU prior to Meyer. By the way why wasn’t OSU investigated when they ran the score up on their opponents? The Big Ten & NCAA the inconsistent & care about only revenue and protecting the favored conferences and colleges. A couple of coaches who don’t like Coach Harbaugh and UM gripe then a major investigation begins because they are scoring so much on their opponents, where was the investigation when Alabama was doing this and why isn’t the investigation on Georgia?. The NCAA and Big Ten discredit their organization by it’s bias, and selective governance. If these organizations would quit pandering to media hacks like SEC Finebaum and concentrate on doing their job in an honest and impartial manner, may people wouldn’t question the integrity of the NCAA and the conferences.
