I started writing this article thinking about the roots of challenges in school infrastructure and their solutions – and almost everything landed back to building community ownership. So, I reflected on earlier practices and processes that strengthened school governance. I am sharing some ideas that helped. Believe in the process. Early Years Practitioner|| Founder and CEO Pearls In the Rubbles Education Foundation (PITREF) I am happy to help children between ages 0-5 living in marginalized communities to have access to early years education.
Lately, I saw a post by an organisation that is fully involved in solving education problems we have all over the public schools in Nigeria that a lot of primary school leavers can not read. I found the post amusing because I have encountered these public schools kids and I see the huge flaws in their foundational knowledge. You can not achieve reading ease and success in public primary schools unless you build them up from the scratch through #earlyliteracy and this is what I am passionate about, this is why HACTRI was birthed- To help underprivileged children aged 2-5 have access to good quality early years education like their counterparts who are privileged. .. I do not have super powers I am only a concerned Teacher who's trying to help bridge this huge gap of discrimination and incompetence. While this is a very good cause, It requires joint efforts of like minds. I am open to partnerships and collaborations from schools, concerned individuals, families, professionals to help #underprivilegedchildren achieve firm foundation in #earlyliteracy through Project HACTRI. . . . . #earlychildhoodeducation #eyfsteacher #sdg4qualityeducation #ngreeforimpostersyndrome #hactri #nonprofitorganization #solvingeducationproblemsinnigeria

The Issue of Sameness among CSOs and NGOs in the Public Education Sector: A Sure Shot Way of Destroying the Organization Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) play crucial roles in addressing various social, economic, educational, and environmental challenges. The roles played by CSOs are undeniably significant. These organizations have been pivotal in driving reforms, advocating for policy changes, and implementing grassroots-level interventions aimed at improving educational outcomes. However, a critical issue that threatens the existence of CSOs working in the public education sector is the pervasive sameness ... Private schools fill gap for special needs pupils in England In England, the role of private schools in supporting special needs pupils is more crucial than ever. With public schools facing a squeeze on resources, many special needs students struggle to get the attention they require. Private schools are stepping up to fill this gap, providing tailored education that meets these pupils' unique needs. A recent study by the UK Department for Education reveals that over 15% of parents with children with special needs have turned to private education as the state system fails to meet their expectations (DfE, 2024). These schools offer specialised support workers, smaller class sizes, and customised curriculums that public institutions often cannot provide due to budget constraints. At Rikama Education, we're proud to work with private schools that focus on delivering high-quality education to special needs pupils. We believe every child deserves the best possible start in life, and we're dedicated to supporting both schools and families in finding the right solutions. Gabor Maté states that most mental illness is due to social, natural and spiritual disconnection from a young age within western culture. Often already intergenerational, up to ages considering the ethnocide of the European indigenous cultures have started that long ago. Ivan Illich states that the correct globally dominant western education system is designed to train 'workers' to be exploited within the capitalistic system by ruling elite. For which they must be disconnected from social, natural and spiritual relations. How can we cocreate an educational vision that honours our social rights to Home, Family & Community relations? Our natural rights to the natural animal, plant, mineral & elemental relations? Our universal rights to spiritual relations?
As we prepare to observe the Day of the African Child with the theme "Education for all children in Africa: the time is now," it's crucial to acknowledge that many children are separated from their families to receive education in orphanages. The educational outcomes for children in orphanages are frequently unsatisfactory due to various factors linked to care in these institutions. I am of the opinion that education can often be supported while children stay with their families. It is essential to respect the right to education while also valuing the right to family life. #DAC2024 #BackToFamily

Good initiative by SELD with duport of UNICEF and EU i sequpping the high schools in 14 District of Sindh. The major cause of the girls out of schools and low litarcy rate of girs is not having the interconnectivity of higher schools in the area and many girls after completions of promary could not availed the higher education as the higher schools were at far distances. This initiative will provide apportuinities to the girls for achieving their dream of higher education. This effort not only enhances educational access but also empowers girls by providing them with the means to achieve their academic aspirations. Education is a fundamental right and a powerful tool for personal development and societal progress. Initiatives like this play a crucial role in promoting gender equality and empowering communities by breaking down barriers to education. It is a significant stride towards ensuring that all children, regardless of their location, have equal access to quality education, thereby paving the way for a more inclusive and prosperous society. Appreciated the initiative.
