As a Nigerian who rose from an uneasy beginning, to be on a path of becoming someone in life, I am convinced, there's indeed a need to help as many kids as possible get quality education and a good life. I've once lived in a village where the only source of water at that time was a dirty stagnant water channeled from swamp. It's been almost two decades and one would expect things to have changed but people in many parts of Nigeria like other African countries still rely on streams for water. We need to help ourselves. The number of out of school kids in Nigeria despite the fast pace global technological advancement often leaves me concerned. We seem not to understand the danger that looms from not raising every child to be useful and productive. Parents cannot afford to send their kids to school due to abject poverty, some get financially handicapped along the way thereby withdrawing their kids from schools helplessly. As a child I witnessed many classmates withdrawn from school over parents' inability to pay levies, I see what they've grown to become and it doesn't make me happy. Drawing from this reality, I'm inspired to change the little I can change and motivate as many as I am able to reach to look at that little they can afford to change to make Nigeria great again. I co-founded Governmend Nigeria to help kids in school, we've not been able to do so much but the good thing is we have started. We gave out free books to some selected schools in Plateau and Osun, we look forward to doing bigger projects in no distant future. That good idea can start now. Start!. #GovernMend #ChangeOneThing

The naggings and the cry to leave the country for a better place of solace is becoming more amplified as the day goes by, especially in Nigeria. This can be ascribed to the situations of insecurities, the economical down slide, farmer-herder violence, armed banditry and boko haram insurgency. Despite the fact that the government has been taking commendable steps towards tackling this paralytic circumstances, a greater responsibility still lies in our hands as citizens to support whatever the government is offering us. In adapting to the current political climate in Nigeria ranging from the situation of an unstable economy to situation of insecurities as afore mentioned, we have taken measurable steps to making quality education affordable for all. Part of the measures we have in place are conduction of trainings for our tutors for quality delivery of services- either in-person or on-line-, educating our parents on the need to always identify our tutors by requesting for their Identification card on occasion when the vest isn't applied, running online classes also makes it possible for Internally displaced persons to still enjoy quality education services wherever they are especially with the application of 21st century tools available. For us as, adjusting to the current political climate isn't a rack of the brain for us.
