We’re so excited to kick off our new series, #MyBarStory, as Helix and AccessLex Institute team members share their personal experiences (and tips!) on taking the bar exam. First up, Helix Managing Director – Institutional Partnerships, Allie Robbins, Esq., describes how she prepared for the exam while offering some advice for future bar takers. “I was terrified during bar study. I didn’t think I knew enough or could do enough. I was not a confident test-taker. But, I did what my bar company told me to do, supplemented with additional materials (Helix didn’t exist then, so I had to), and used the study methods I had honed during law school. And it worked,” Allie recalled. “If I had any advice for a bar taker it would be to trust in yourself, trust in the process, and practice, practice, practice,” she advised. “Doing practice questions is truly the best way to learn how to succeed on the bar exam.
