I often hear from individuals deeply interested in Ukraine's affairs that the Revolution of Dignity was a CIA-orchestrated coup against a "Russian" rule-based system within Ukraine. 🕵️♂️🇺🇦 While I understand this viewpoint and acknowledge that intelligence services worldwide work towards their national security objectives in such scenarios, I respectfully disagree with the notion that this was an #American-led coup. 🇺🇸❌ It was, unequivocally, the people of #Ukraine. 🇺🇦✊ These were people yearning for what we cherish in #America: the fundamental right to the pursuit of happiness. 🗽💫 Such happiness remained elusive under a #Kremlin-backed regime, with citizens at the mercy of corrupt officials and oligarchs. 💼🚫 And let's not forget, this wasn't the first uprising. The Orange Revolution of 2004 is yet another instance where the Ukrainian people stood tall against the same oppressive forces they faced a decade later in 2014. 🍊🔙 After waiting a decade for change, only to be met with more of the same, the people's patience wore thin, and in 2014, they said, "enough is enough." 🕰️💥 Little did they know that soon after, #Russia would annex #Crimea and instigate conflicts in Donetsk and Luhansk, leading to a full-scale invasion eight years later. 🇷🇺🚀 Despite these challenges, the Ukrainian spirit of freedom and justice for all remains unbroken. They continue to resist, embodying the true essence of courage and resilience. 🛡️🔥 Let's never forget their struggle and the ideals they fight for. #SlavaUkraini 🇺🇦🌟
Today we honor the memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes - those who were killed during the Revolution of Dignity in the struggle for democracy, human rights & freedom for European future of 🇺🇦 Those, whose memory will always be alive. Eternal memory and glory to the Heroes! 🇺🇦

Hi LinkedIn! I hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! If you're a history buff, you'll find this interesting... Harford County, where I'm from in Maryland penned our country's first Declaration of Independence known as the Bush Declaration. This was in March 1775, to document their support of Boston and opposition to British control. The Bush Declaration contributed to the format and premise of the well-known United States Declaration of Independence that we celebrate every July 4th. Freedom is never quite free, as noted by the ending statement of the declaration, "At the risque of our lives and fortunes." More can be found here: https://lnkd.in/eavnmegs

Constitution Day, celebrated on September 17th in the United States, holds profound significance as it commemorates the pivotal moment in American history when the framers of the U.S. Constitution signed this enduring document in 1787. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the foresight, wisdom, and dedication of the Founding Fathers who crafted a blueprint for a democratic nation that has withstood the test of time. The U.S. Constitution not only established the framework for the federal government but also enshrined essential principles such as individual rights, separation of powers, and the rule of law, shaping the very essence of the American Republic. Constitution Day encourages citizens to reflect on the enduring importance of the Constitution, its role in safeguarding freedoms, and the ongoing commitment to upholding its principles for generations to come. As we observe Constitution Day, it is an opportune moment to engage in civic education, foster a deeper understanding of our nation's history and values, and recommit ourselves to the principles of unity and liberty enshrined in this foundational document. It also underscores the significance of a government that derives its authority from the consent of the governed, an ideal that is sometimes forgotten.

In case you need a reminder of what the holiday is all about and the true sacrifice made by our Founders to create the United States of America, take 10 minutes to watch this video on the Declaration of Independence from the legendary Paul Harvey. https://lnkd.in/gUaNcSRx

🇺🇸 As Americans, we cherish our freedoms, and among them, the Second Amendment holds a special place. 🗽 In a nation founded on principles of liberty and individual rights, the Second Amendment stands as a cornerstone, ensuring our ability to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and our way of life. It's not just a constitutional provision; it's a reflection of our commitment to self-reliance, independence, and the balance of power between citizens and government. Here are five reasons why the Second Amendment is crucial to safeguarding the freedoms we hold dear: 1️⃣ Preservation of Individual Rights: Our right to bear arms empowers us to defend ourselves against threats, both foreign and domestic, preserving our inherent liberties. 2️⃣ Balance of Power: It serves as a vital safeguard against tyranny, reminding those in authority that ultimate power resides with the people. 3️⃣ Historical Significance: The right to bear arms is deeply rooted in our nation's history, embodying the spirit of resilience and determination that defines the American character. 4️⃣ National Security: A well-armed citizenry strengthens our national security, providing a crucial line of defense in times of crisis. 5️⃣ Deterrence of Crime: Armed citizens play a critical role in deterring criminal activity, contributing to the safety and security of our communities. As we celebrate our freedoms, let's remember the importance of the Second Amendment in preserving the rights and values that make America great. 🦅 #SecondAmendment #DefendingFreedom #AmericanValues
