ACC National Capital Region’s Post

Our recent Nonprofits & Associations Conference provided a series of sessions allowing attendees to gain insight into navigating the complexities of AI and data protection; explore best practices and strategies for managing for-profit subsidiaries; prepare themselves for the future in a post-Chevron landscape; learn how to safeguard their organizations from Antitrust violations; and discover strategies and tactics for effectively handling congressional investigations. Session 2, Collaborating for Prosperity; Working with For-Profits to Increase Revenue, focused on trends in cause marketing, using professional fundraisers for events, and developments in peer-to-peer fundraising through online platforms. Panelists, Jonathan Blum and Andrew Grumet, partners at Holland & Knight, together with Natalie Malone, Executive Counsel at. ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, discussed impact deals and fundraising consideration, and the trend of fee for service instead of grants and the various implications to the nonprofit. Thank you to our panelists and sponsor Holland & Knight LLP for this insightful session.
