Still time to register for the NAPARS online photography presentation this Friday! Since it's a Zoom presentation, there's no limit to the number of attendees. From 12:00 noon to 2:00p EDT on Friday, May 31, 2024, I'll be sharing an online presentation for NAPARS on how using tripods, polarizers, and flashes will elevate your wreck site, vehicle, and component photographs. You'll see plenty of before and after examples to demonstrate just how powerful those three tools are by themselves, and even more so when used together. Any professional can easily use these tools to make consistent, professional, and useful photographs for reports and exhibits for clients, attorneys, judges, and juries. It's free for NAPARS members and only $5 for non-members! Of course, there will be ACTAR credits. https://lnkd.in/eNgCrHjw #NAPARS #forensicphotography #accidentreconstruction #accidentreconphotography #photography

One of the most transformative lessons I’ve learned as a photographer is that less is often more. This image was created using minimal lighting, a single source that cast shadows and revealed the subject’s strength. It reminded me that simplicity allows emotion to take center stage. In photography, it’s easy to get caught up in complexity, but I’ve found that stripping away the excess often reveals the truth. For those of you in creative fields, what’s one technique or approach you’ve simplified that made a world of difference?

For example, in the photo where the red ant walks on the fence acts as a frame, drawing attention to the red ant as the subject of the image.
