The West Midlands has proven to be a lucrative location for FDI projects. EY released its annual report looking into the state of FDI across the European economy, and the UK and the West Midlands region. 985 FDI projects landed in the UK during the year, with Greater London the leading region in Europe, with the West Midlands and Scotland not far behind.
