Last week, our Founder & CEO Stacey Katakura, CPA and President Brandon Asuncion, CPA had the opportunity to attend the groundbreaking of a crucial housing project on Maui, Ka La'i Ola, which will support wildfire survivors ineligible for FEMA aid by building 450 temporary housing units. This housing project is led by our newest nonprofit client HomeAid Hawaii and is a unique partnership across the state of Hawai‘i, Maui County, the state Department of Human Services (DHS), the Hawai‘i Community Foundation (HCF). Ka Laʻi Ola means ‘The Place of Peaceful Recovery,' and we're honored to support this initiative toward long-term recovery for Maui.
