When is manual machining a better choice than CNC machining? #1: When drilling and tapping on a large base plate. >>> A contractor needed four corner holes drilled and tapped in a large, 1” thick base plate, which exceeded the capacity of our mini mill. Because the holes’ tolerances were not critical, we could achieve sufficient precision with the Bridgeport. #2: When doing repair work involving broken components. >>> When a customer brought us a damaged part with a broken tap, the most time- and cost-efficient solution was to use our Bridgeport to redrill and retap the part’s holes. #3: When performing precise modifications for unique one-off parts. >>> When a customer’s weldment required modification, manual machining provided a simple solution for carefully opening an existing slot without undertaking costly, time-consuming CNC setup. At Baillie Fab, we're equipped with the solutions you need. Let's work together: https://bit.ly/3muIQ1F #cnc #machining #sheetmetal

https://lnkd.in/gQAfHPRB When it comes to achieving high-precision results, Electrical Firing Machining (EDM) and tralatitious machining apiece move chiseled advantages. EDM excels in creating intricate, high-tolerance components with multiplex geometries and granitelike materials, making it ideal for exactitude and tangled designs. On the remaining forepaw, traditional machining is oft preferred for its quickening and cost-effectiveness for simpler, inferior elaborate parts. Explore the key reasons to select EDM over tralatitious machining for leading quality, finer finishes, and intricate items in your manufacturing processes.

Overall, these Processes Collectively Enable Kimia Mes Taban Kavir Co. to Fabricate a diverse Range of Copper Components and products Tailored to Meet the Specific Needs of Different Industries, From Electronics And Telecommunications To Construction And Automotive. Punching involves creating holes or other shapes in copper sheets or components using a punch and die set. This process is commonly used to create holes for fasteners, connectors, or ventilation in copper products. Bending and folding refer to the process of shaping copper sheets or components into desired angles or forms. This can be achieved through various methods such as press brakes, rollers, or specialized bending machines. Bending and folding are crucial for forming copper into components or structures with specific geometries. Turning, also known as lathe turning, involves rotating a copper workpiece against a cutting tool to remove material and create cylindrical or conical shapes. This process is commonly used to produce shafts, bolts, and other cylindrical components from copper stock. Tapping is the process of cutting internal threads into a drilled hole in copper material using a tapping tool or machine. This allows for the insertion of screws, bolts, or other threaded fasteners into the copper component.

WELCOME TO JACK'S TALK, I'M FROM SHENZHEN BOJIE, MY EMAIL ADDRESS IS JACK@SZBJ-CNC.COM How to arrange heat treatment process in precision machining In order to improve the survival and competitiveness of precision machining enterprises, among many factors, the key is to rely on advanced technology. With the development of modern industry, more and more companies have begun to pay attention to processes. Process files are the foundation of precision machining enterprises, and their correctness is very important. Generally, before heat treatment, the post-annealing treatment of component welding should be checked to eliminate welding stress. Otherwise, the hardness of the weld will be higher than that of the parent material after cooling, which is easy to damage the tool and is not conducive to machining. After precision machining, there is a process of polishing or grinding, and then blackening or electroplating. Medium carbon steel is a very common material. It needs to be tempered and quenched separately according to the purpose of the workpiece. Plate parts with small loads can be exempted from tempering and quenching. For shaft parts, if they are hollow and have a large diameter and are hollowed out more, they can be rough-machined first and then tempered to reduce the cost of heat treatment. After finishing, quenching and grinding are performed. Some parts can be directly quenched without grinding. The rust prevention process is a finishing step. The process of chrome steel is similar to that of medium carbon steel. The difference is that some parts can be directly quenched without quenching and tempering. The quenching process has an additional option: dilution treatment with very small deformation. The purpose of heat treatment is mainly to improve the hardness and wear resistance of parts materials in precision machining. It includes quenching, carburizing and nitriding. Quenching and carburizing quenching are usually arranged after semi-finishing and before finishing; nitriding treatment is usually arranged after finishing due to small deformation.
