The National Fire Protection Association says that a number of fires started by candles peaks in December. That’s no surprise to us, so here’s some things you can do to make sure you and your loved ones sleep soundly: - Keep candles away from anything flammable and away from pets and children. - Light your candles early so that they’re not left unattended overnight. - Santa can’t get down a chimney when the fire is burning, so leave it off if stockings are hung nearby! - Prefer the smell of a real tree?
