It’s a family tradition for us to say thanks to our children at the end of each school year, not for the marks they brought home but for the effort they put in … … most importantly for embracing the opportunity to learn and have fun with it. I think that’s a good habit in business, too, especially for ambitious teams. When we’re constantly busy cracking the next challenge, it can be hard to hit pause for a moment and celebrate how far we’ve already come. It’s easy to take the effort for granted. What do you want to celebrate? 🎉 Another week is gone, and with that the first month of the year, have you taken the time to celebrate yourself and your wins, big or small? Here are two ways you can acknowledge your efforts and truly recognize the significant milestones you've achieved without it feeling like a brag:     1️⃣ Reflect & share the journey   Pause and look at how far you've come. Recognize the dedication, resilience, and countless hours of hard work that went into anything that you've set your mind to. Acknowledge and share what you've done so far, the highs and lows. When you see the complete picture, instead of the achievements, you put everything in perspective.       2️⃣ Seek an external point of view   While working hard, it's easy to lose sight of what we've accomplished, we tend to see all the things that still need to be done. Ask your peers, mentors, or coach - they can provide an objective perspective on your achievements. Share your accomplishments with them and ask for honest feedback. Can they see the value and the impact of what you've done?      Celebrating your accomplishments doesn't mean boasting or seeking validation, but recognizing and acknowledging your hard work, building self-confidence, and embracing your growth.       So, pause, reflect, and recognize the remarkable things you've recently accomplished, no matter how big or small.     💜 Share them below and let's celebrate you together!

Man what a year it has been! Enjoyed celebrating with some of our guys talking about the highs (and lows) of the first year. Certainly the word pride comes to mind when I look back on the start of this journey. I’m proud of the relationships we have made in such a short time. We’ve worked in more locations and markets than I could have ever imagined. Those relationships with different developers, contractors, owners, government municipalities, etc. have made the difference. I’m proud of our quality. As a team, every decision we try to make centers around quality. How can we provide the best product for our client? Quality will always survive. I’m proud of our willingness to think outside the box and work on all types of projects. Facility maintenance, design build, govt, private, industrial, sub work, GC work, etc. Moving in and out on this type of work takes extreme organizational communication. Our guys have worked hard on this. However, what I’m most proud of is our TEAM. I’ve said it plenty of times but the hardest part of growing a business is getting people to join the journey. We’ve added critical pieces along the way that have made us better at each step. Our guys grind. They work in the rain. They travel. They work nights. Early morning. Late evenings. To them, it has become part of our culture; it is a culture that defines us. As I look back on this past year, I smile thinking about those tough days. Days that every business owner has had. Nothing is going right…working your tail off, etc. etc etc. But, the reason I smile is because I had a team standing right there with me willing to do anything to make it better. If that doesn’t wake you up in the morning, I don’t know what does…Cheers!

How do your vehicles know exactly where to go? GPS is accurate enough IF they are given the precise lat/long of desired destination. Normal mapping apps like Google Maps are not accurate enough and the gvie "rooftop" coordinates, which is obviously not what you need. What do you use to navigate so precisely? Very impressed by Clevon. It is the future.

It’s great to celebrate beginnings but there’s something more important to celebrate. When we start something new it’s usually cause for celebration. And for good reason. It’s great to start something new. Whether it’s starting... -a new business -a new career -a new endeavor -a new goal It’s great to celebrate starting something because getting started is half the battle. But I think it’s more important to celebrate sticking with something. Celebrate not giving up. Celebrate finishing something. Sometimes, seeing things to the end and just sticking with it is much harder. It’s easy to quit, it’s hard to keep going. Especially when things get difficult and seem impossible. So celebrate those times when you feel like giving up but you just keep going. Celebrate when you see something to the end Celebrate when you cross that finish line. Keep going and never give up.
