This morning, a potential client reminded me of this unique conversion that I helped one of our clients achieve. For me, it achieved a fantastic balance between modern updates and honouring the building's history. While discussing similar projects with this potential client, I mentioned there's actually a two-part episode on Grand Designs about this one! As I searched for the link, the title caught my eye: "Is this Grand Designs' Most Controversial Conversion Yet?" Think it lives up to the name? A vision.... Ever since I can remember, I have always visualised everything, especially so with my events. I create an image in my head as to how the event will look, almost like a walkthrough with a video camera (that's how it looks in my head), looking up and seeing the venue, how it is decorated, how the atmosphere makes me feel, and even how it smells! I have used this concept for almost everything that I've ever worked on, without really realising the true effects of it, it's just natural for me.☁️ I have created a static visual board for next year (and beyond) and I'd love to look back, this time next year, to see how many of these came to fruition. I'm working incredibly hard to make these happen. I'd love to have my own office again, I'm desperate to go back to Florida, and I'd love to visit Cornwall with my family (I'd also love to visit Greece!) We haven't been on holiday for about 4 years now and I so want to get on a plane and visit different places, experience different things, eat different food.... So, as I've been so quiet on here, this is what I've been working towards behind the scenes... to make sure these trips happen, and to grow my Magnus empire!!!
