It’s that time again: back to school time! According to AdoptAClassroom.org, 96% of US teachers purchase basic school supplies for their classrooms out of their own pocket. Through our longstanding partnership with this great organization, we have been able to help teachers, like Deborah, equip their students with the materials they need to succeed in the classroom.

Hi, this is a thought-provoking question. I have tried my best to research on the reasons for motivation and demotivation for teachers in the Indian context through my PhD. Interestingly, most teachers were motivated to continue working if there were challenges thrown at them and majorly demotivated by the pay scale, the monotony of the curriculum and the system, the class size, etc. As per my findings and for future research, it will be interesting to find out how teachers would react if these demands were met at a priority basis for them to improve their teaching in schools and prevent them from taking tuitions. This way, neither are the children or the teachers exhausted from continuous work.
You’re working to improve teaching-learning practices in secondary schools. However, you find that many teachers run their own tuition classes after school hours. So, for them it does not make sense to improve their teaching during school hours. What are you going to do?

Hey everyone, we have a webinar coming up on October 29th that I'm excited to share with you: Last school year, Timely partnered with two Dallas County (Texas) school districts -- Mesquite Independent School District and Richardson Independent School District -- along with The Commit Partnership, an incredible nonprofit focused on improving educational outcomes in Dallas County. Through this partnership, Mesquite and Richardson were able to: -Develop more efficient special education staffing allocations: staffing plans significantly reduced the risk of inevitable hiring needs driven by either teacher attrition or an influx of new students. -Improve delivery of special education instruction: thanks to a more optimized schedule, learning specialists aren't stretched across content areas, allowing teachers to better support student learning needs. -Save a ton of time and hassle: in addition to the staffing and instructional improvements, school-based schedulers saved, on average, 50-100 hours of scheduling per campus, significantly streamlining and simplifying the process. Come join us to hear directly from their district leaders about the importance of strategic scheduling and their partnership with Timely! And we will soon be releasing a white paper that will showcase these improvements in efficiency and instructional delivery!
