🧠 The value of focus🧠 Meditation is a great way to start your day, take a break from the day, or end your day. But did you know that meditation does not have to mean sitting in a quiet room and trying not to think while inhaling incense? The goal of meditation is to focus the mind on a single thought or point, while accepting that other thoughts may come and go from time to time. For me, the gym serves this purpose. While moving a weight, all thought is focused on one movement and one muscle, allowing all the other noise of the day to clear away. Doing this first thing in the morning leaves my mind feeling fresh and ready to tackle the day with a clear plan.
