A Goal-Action Alignment framework is vital. For discerning if your actions are moving you directly forward to your goal or actually feeding something else. I like to explore the end-goal with people. The root cause of the priorities in their schedule. To get a glimpse at any of our old conditioning serving values and priorities today that are NOT serving our goal, just look at your schedule. Is there any actions, behaviors or thoughts in the day that you notice you’re having or doing that DONT directly serve your CURRENT goals? Is there a action, behaviour or thought in your daily plan that could enhance the service of your goal? 🧠 If it’s a thought/belief, Maxwell Martz (Author of Psycho-Cybernetics) said: “you can never outperform your self-image” - thought provoking for how we view ourselves. 🧠 If it is a Behavior, John Wooden (Hall of Fame coach) says The Time to Prepare Is Before An Opportunity Arrises - not when. 🧠 If its action, Aristotle is quoted saying: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit” ♻️Do you have your own perspectives on these 3 statements?
