This week is #BabyLossAwarenessWeek, and our thoughts are with all of the moms and dads who have lost an infant 🧡 This week we remember those little ones, and remind ourselves how important it is to talk about them and share their memory with others.

It’s #Halloween and we bring three important PSA messages: 1/ Our customers at BODY BRAVE are hosting a Pumpkin Carving Contest. By voting for your favourite pumpkin (see link in the comments below), you can support Body Brave’s mission and help more people access the care they deserve. 🎃🧡 Body Brave is at the forefront of providing accessible support and education for the over 1.7 million Canadians affected by eating disorders. This great organisation works to break down barriers to care and bring awareness, as early intervention and treatment are crucial, yet only 1 in 10 Canadians affected receive the care they need. 2/ As we are celebrating Halloween, please be cautious as tonight is also one of the deadliest nights of the year for pedestrians. Especially as it’s Canadian Patient Safety Week #CPSW2024, we thought we could share this great 🎃 Halloween Safety Tips article that was published by Global News a couple of days ago (see link in the comments): 3/ And, last but definitely not least, we are doing our plea again to think for Halloween about #inclusion, and share quick and easy tips for how to be more welcoming to kids with special needs. Happy Halloween! 🎃 #inclusionmatters #neurodiverse #disabilityawareness #disabilitysupport #equityandinclusion

As our parents age, they may face physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges that necessitate our support and understanding. #respectourparents#loveandcare#humanity#oldagehome#seniorcare#parentslove#emotions

Want to keep the Children safe, get these instructions across to them: 1. Your body is yours and yours alone, no one is permitted to hurt your body. 2. Your private parts are your lips, breasts/chest, Virginia/Penis and buttocks, no one should touch them or make you touch theirs. 3. You are too expensive to be bought by gifts 4. Your body has a way of telling you about wrong touches- if it feels uncomfortable or wrong, reject it. 5. Reject every wrong touch 6. It's okay to scream when wrongly touched 7.if you are wrongly touched, dont keep it to yourself 8. You should talk to someone you trust when wrongly touched. 9. You may feel otherwise but it is not your fault you were wrongly touched. 10. You are loved and someone believes you and believes in you. #saynotochildabuse #childabuseawareness #childabuse #humanrights #everychildmatters #hopealiveeducationalcenter

📣A word of caution and encouragement for aging parents with adult children: Your adult children might bring up conversations about your aging plan over the holidays. Try to remember that they’re not trying to take control—they just want to ensure that you’re safe, cared for, and prepared for whatever lies ahead. Being open to these discussions is healthy for everyone. It ensures that your wishes are heard and respected, and it prevents confusion later on. 📰 Interested in more insights into heartfelt holiday conversations?
