In the world we see various approaches to environmental impact that are hard to scale up. I got to see the data that supports real world change in promoting clean water and restoring natural functions of rain absorption and preventing runoff that Kristy Wallner with the Bureau of Land Management is working on in Colorado. This is a great example of long term repairing our environment and ensuring our children have clean drinking water! The key idea was to explore and mark all connected land cells starting from each unvisited '1'.
