🌍 𝗠𝗜𝗔𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗨𝗞 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗺 🚀 Last week, I had the honor of presenting at the UK Plant Phenomics Conference, hosted by PhenomUK Research Infrastructure, and I want to express my gratitude to all the organizers, speakers, and participants for this exceptional event. 🙏 🔬 It was an incredible opportunity to discuss the latest scientific and technological advances, meet passionate experts, and share MIAtecs' vision regarding high-throughput microscopic-scale plant phenotyping (#HTMPP). These exchanges not only inspired me but also reinforced my commitment to continue innovating in the field of plant phenotyping. 🌱 I particularly appreciated our discussions about how #HTMPP could help advance research for a better understanding of #stomatal mechanisms, precise gene expression patterns analysis in all plant tissues, #leaf morphology, the use of pH, calcium and ROS #biosensors as well as #root hairs biophysics. 🌾 Thank you again to everyone I had the pleasure of meeting! Single-cell multi-omics offers the promise of understanding cellular heterogeneity and complex processes, such as tumor progression. However, current studies rely on non-parallel methods that integrate modalities from different datasets (like transcriptomic and proteomics), muddling our view of cell types or states. Access to parallel methods measuring multiple omics modalities on the same cells is limited, with drawbacks like low throughput and lack of automation. We foresee significant progress in this field. What are your thoughts on these multi-omics challenges? And how should the field address them? https://lnkd.in/gigsZNN6 #bioinformatics #lifescience #genomics #multiomics

We were thrilled to welcome Dr. Ashleigh Riegler, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, to our NanoString Technologies Customer Experience Lab. Dr. Riegler has been tirelessly working on the front lines of COVID-19 research, focusing specifically on Mycology in intubated COVID-19 patients with secondary mold infections. During her visit, she dove deeper into our CosMx SMI technology, which she is utilizing in her groundbreaking research. She is using our platform to spatially study iron concentrations in relation to these fungal infections, seeking to understand the crucial role that iron plays in infection outcomes. Her innovative approach includes comparing the gene expression of iron-loaded versus iron-low macrophages to gain new insights and hopefully develop more effective treatments. We are proud to support such important research and excited to see the results of Dr. Riegler's work. Stay tuned for more updates! #biotechnology #research #covid19 #mycology #geneexpression #nanotechnology #ironresearch #NanoStringTechnologies #CosMxSMI #CustomerExperienceLab #UAB This post may include information regarding CosMx™ SMI products for RNA detection, which products are not available in the member states of the European Unified Patent Court, as further described here - https://bit.ly/498JPIB.

Enhanced3D Genomics has a proprietary GenLink3D platform which uses capture Hi-C technologies to profile this 3D genome folding at high resolution for all genes and their enhancers simultaneously. The platform thus links gene enhancers and non-coding genetic variants to their target genes, unlocking their potential for therapeutic discovery Genetically supported drug targets are twice as likely to succeed in clinical trials (Sanseau et al., 2015). https://lnkd.in/ebuV89cE #enhanced3Dgenomics
