BioPhorum is delighted to have been involved in judging panels on five awards at the CPHI Awards on 8 October. Soroosh Bagheriasl , PhD, from BioPhorum Drug Delivery,  is in attendance and will award the supply chain excellence award. He was a judge for the drug delivery and device innovation category. Drug delivery devices play an increasingly important role in supporting global health and wellbeing. Within the growing biopharmaceutical market, the need for these devices is predicted to increase substantially. However, the current model for designing, producing, distributing and end-of-life processing of autoinjectors (and other combination products) results in missed opportunities to embed circularity and the principles of sustainability.
