Key Takeaways from "The Art of Making Things Happen with Steve Sims: Jon Vroman" Podcast Episode 🎙️ Being open & vulnerable comes with the responsibility of representing your loved ones: Podcasts, blogs, and online platforms allow us to share personal stories and struggles, but it's crucial to consider how this affects our family's privacy. Permission and careful judgment should guide our choices. 🎙️ Create a safe space for men to open up and share their secrets: Confidentiality is vital, especially when successful individuals with big platforms are present. Having a trustworthy environment, whether in-person or online, enables men to share deeply personal stories that they may have never shared before, fostering growth and support. 🎙️ Shift your priorities and embrace vulnerability: Achieving professional success is satisfying, but it should not come at the expense of our families. Recognize the need to adjust your identity and make time for your loved ones. Leaning into community, conversations, and connections allows us to lead ourselves and our families with bravery and create lasting memories. Join the conversation and listen to the full episode of "The Art of Making Things Happen with Steve Sims" as Jon Vroman shares valuable insights on the challenges and rewards of embracing vulnerability, balancing personal and professional priorities, and finding joy in fatherhood. https://lnkd.in/g9-v5faS #TheArtOfMakingThingsHappen #Podcast #Vulnerability #FamilyFirst #CreatingMemories #PersonalDevelopment #LeadershipDevelopment

If you don’t ask, the answer is always NO ! Ways to seek help: -Have a willingness to know more from people, books, videos and podcasts -Ask specific question not generic -Frame the request in a positive way -Find the right person to ask and be clear as possible about what you need -Do your own research on subject and make it easy for people to help you, be specific and provide context of what you need help with. -if someone agrees to help, let them, and receive it gratefully -Always acknowledge the help you received and let them know how well you are doing because of the help. #helpinghands #helpingothers

AND Episode 2 has officially dropped today! A quick under 30 minute listen to gain an understanding of the process a community can go through to bring the ten vital services to 100% of families in NM. [Podcast excerpt] "It boils down to access. There are so many (great) organizations that are doing amazing things. Families who are struggling might not know about them. They might not have a car that can get them to those services. Those services might be open while the parents are at work or (while) all the kids are at school. And so that is why our initiative starts with a survey. We ask the parents, “Have you needed these services? If so, were you able to access them? If not, why not? What were the barriers?” And our reports are available on our website, which we can link to. But they show very clearly, a large percentage of our families need these services, even if they are available in their communities, (they) might not be able to access them for a wide range of reasons. And identifying those reasons is absolutely key." -Dr. Katherine Ortega Courtney Listen here: https://lnkd.in/g2TQdf3J Listen to past episodes here: https://lnkd.in/gz9cPD2b #100percentcommunity #100percentfuture #surivingandthriving Dr. Katherine Ortega Courtney Dominic Cappello Rubina Cohen
