Increasingly, I hear about healthcare systems implementing virtual nursing, and this just happened to be top of mind when I ran across the recent article by Woolley and Gupta (2023) on collective intelligence. I was struck by the importance of collective intelligence in effective healthcare teams, and began wondering how the introduction of virtual nurses could impact that construct. As a result, I took a short foray into the extant literature and shared my findings in the post below.
