What’s a hot market for structural engineering? Data centers. Mission critical. We can’t build these fast enough. And the design and construction of these will create jobs elsewhere: Forecasts reveal a 15% annual growth rate in data center power demand through 2030. (Goldman Sachs) By 2030, data centers will consume 8% of total US power – a HUGE jump from today's 3%. (G.S.) Power generation is also going to play a big part in meeting this demand (hopefully utility solar plays a big role here). 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐈𝐆 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡: Will the REAL constraint to AI's growth be power limitations, corporate budgets, or demand itself? One thing is for sure, this demand isn’t going way anytime soon. And I’m recruiting to fill structural engineering roles in this space. DM me if you want to learn more.

Another "industry" that is growing no matter who the president is, or the ups & downs of the economy. This growth intern means that we need upgraded power grids, new power grids & "energy sources". A solar field in KS is not enough. Nor is a wind farm off of NJ. We need "energy balance" (solar, oil, natural gas, nuclear, wind, hydro) and eventually "energy independence". #feedyourmind #keeplearning #datacenters #inthenews
