We have a son Cameron & daughter Colette, or Coco, & baby #3 is to be here in about 6 weeks! In my free time, there is nothing I love more than to be with my family. They are my everything and my ‘why’.” 1️⃣ How long have you been in the industry & what roles have you held in your career? “7+ years. Started in Lab as an account manager, launched and managed a Cardiopulmonary division, and now Director of Allied Health here at Lark!” 2️⃣ How did you become interested in the medical staffing industry, & what motivated you to pursue a career in it? “I knew I wanted to get into sales, but more importantly, wanted to get into a role where I could work and build relationships with people on a consistent basis.” 3️⃣ What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone aspiring to work in the medical staffing field? “Anyone who has truly done this job knows the roller coaster ride they are signing up for. But, it’s a ride I enjoy so much. It is definitely not an easy career and you really have to invest a lot of time and work your butt off out of the gates in order to be successful. A lot of people love to see the benefits and fun that come with this type of career. Don’t get me wrong, we have lots of fun, but it’s a lot more fun when you are winning and having success coming from your dedication to hard work.” 4️⃣ Do you have a hidden talent or skill that not many people know about? “I have been told that I have a very loud clap. "If you can't help me, I'm going to close my practice." That is what someone said to me in September. Then she added, "I've already updated my resume." I asked her if that was what she wanted to do. She said no, but she didn't have a choice because she was going to run out of money by the end of the year. I said- "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED." Since then we've: ✅ Re-vamped her billing and have begun to recover thousands of dollars in wrongful write-offs from her previous billing company. ✅ Reviewed her payer contracts and opted out of low paying ones and added Boost™️ processing to increase reimbursements for workers' comp and auto patients, which is already changing her payer mix. In fact, the billing forecast is showing expected overall reimbursements amounts increasing by 11%. ✅ Re-branded and promoted an alternative revenue stream enhancing her wellness program that's already bringing in extra revenue. ✅ Fired and hired new front desk staff and trained them to DRIVE in new patients and keep the ones they have. This is contributing to an increase of new patients and overall revenue. ✅ Created policies to improve % of arrived visits from 78% to 92%- and more visits means more revenue. ✅ Started on a marketing plan to increase referral sources that has already generated a positive ROI and increased the new referral sources by 25%. 🔶🔶🔶 And that's just the beginning 🔶🔶🔶 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱.
