We need this to end meetings that: • Run longer than necessary • Goes off-topic • Are no longer valuable enough to continue • Is just one person rambling Think about it: How empowering would it be to give everyone the power to conclude a meeting if it is no longer serving its purpose? My 4 Tips For Meetings!! 📆🙌🏽 Meetings are apart of all our lives and these are the 4 checkpoints I have before going into a meeting 1) Why are we meeting? - What is the purpose of this meeting? 2) What is the desired outcome? - What am I looking to get from this meeting? 3) How are we meeting? - Face to face? Virtual? Coffee? Beer? Lunch? 4) What are the action points? - I strongly believe at the conclusion of every meeting there should be an action point. It can even be as simple as reminding yourself to keep in touch with that human If you’ve got any meetings tips, please share those in the comments! And remember, please turn on your cameras! 😉

HAVING MORE MEANINGFUL MEETINGS (HMMM…because it’s worth pausing to think about) Post 15: PLAN YOUR MEETINGS Follow up from last week's Meeting PLAN Framework the P in PLAN is for Plan. This is the first stage of setting up a meeting. Happens before you send out any invitation. Do you have a Plan for the meeting? Is there another way to reach this objective without a meeting that would take less time from people? Then do that. Next week: L for Limit

This week's module on Facilitating Group Participation focused on detailed agendas. Most facilitators do not spend enough time creating a detailed agenda.
