There isn’t much to add here.. Gold’s all around.
Cloud security. It's not exactly the topic that lights up dinner conversations, is it? But here I am, about to talk about it anyway. Bear with me, it gets interesting. Or at least, as interesting as cloud security can get. So, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has this thing called the Security Competency program. Imagine a really complicated, tech-savvy version of Boy Scout badges. There are eight of them, covering everything from keeping hackers out to making sure your data doesn't go on unexpected vacations. Now, usually, companies specialize in one or two areas. It's like going to a restaurant - you expect them to be really good at a few dishes, right? Well, at PwC, we decided to master the entire menu. We got recognized in all eight categories. ALL. EIGHT! It's like showing up to a potluck and realizing you cooked the entire meal. On purpose, of course, because that's how we roll. Don't get me wrong, it's cool. But it also means that now, whenever there's a cloud security issue, guess who everyone's going to call? That's right, yours truly and the team. So if you see me looking a bit frazzled, just know it's because I'm probably mentally reciting the AWS security manual in my sleep. The good news? If cloud security ever becomes an Olympic sport, I think we're in pretty good shape for the gold. Until then, I'll be here, trying to explain to my family why "Perimeter Protection" isn't about building a fence!
