A ⛑ safety note and reminder for this weeks events 🇨🇦🇺🇸🤔 and the larger reminder of how many staff are trained or need re-certs. Plus have you done your monthly check on your first aid kit and are they the PROPER types now add the balance of both😳. When was your last safety note 📝 on reminding staff on basic safety procedures like controlling bleeding or CPR procedures 🤔👀

Remember to take these safety measures regardless of your work environment: Have an emergency action plan in place. Ensure that fire extinguishers are ready and available. Make sure the first aid kit is available and well-stocked. Identify who has CPR/First Aid training. Check the availability and inspection of an AED unit. Familiarize yourself with the SDS manual to know the chemicals you're working with. While we hope to never use these safety measures, they should always be readily available and up-to-date. #safety #pipeline #pipelinesafety

Safety and ⛑️ First Aid in your business ➡️ not as simple as just training. ➡️ it is a complex compliance issue Key Points to remember ✔️ Any trainer or supplier must comply with WHS and Section 26A - as a safety provider. ✔️ Get the supplier to do a baseline risk assessment on roles to determine needs for training and required equipment. This places the risk on them to provide detailed and correct advice. ✔️ Supplier to provide a detailed list of required first aid kits and AEDs. ✔️ Training required workers as per baseline. ✔️Supply identified equipment. ✔️Six monthly checks on all first aid kits and AEDs are in place. Remember Having a first aid kit is not enough. WHS is an end to end solution - don’t get caught out.
