Recognition is crucial for any team! 💼 What does your team do? I’ll go first: I once initiated a peer-to-peer recognition program where we passed around a championship belt monthly. 🏆 It was fun, a bit cheesy, but a nice source of pride for us all. We each got to keep the belt at our desks for a while and congratulated each other when we popped by to visit. Share your strategies below – let's pool some great ideas! 🌟 #TeamRecognition #PeerToPeerRecognition #EmployeeEngagement

Team recognition is essential for a healthy team environment. Recognition comes in different forms to different people. I ask each of my team members how they prefer to be recognized so that I can provide the best experience for them. I recognize individuals and teams through both small and large recognitions. For example, a small recognition might be sending the team an email recognizing one individual for exceeding expectations. I will usually include an image such as the one below. Check back later for examples of giving larger recognitions. #LinkedIn30DayChallenge

Celebrating Small Wins "Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out." – Robert Collier It’s easy to focus on the big goals, but recognizing small wins can keep your team motivated along the way. I once worked on a challenging project where progress seemed slow. As the leader I made a point to celebrate even the smallest milestones, like hitting weekly targets or resolving a tough issue. This not only boosted morale but also energized us to keep pushing forward. Use Case: Don’t wait for the big wins to acknowledge your team’s efforts. Celebrate the journey by recognizing small victories, whether it’s a completed task, a solved problem, or a team member stepping up. These moments build momentum and engagement.

Let Your Team Shine🔆 Reflecting on a past experience, I realized that having directors involved in every team member's report can indirectly weaken the team. While director oversight is important, constant involvement discourages individual growth and team autonomy. #LeadershipInsights #TeamEmpowerment"

Leading this team has been a present, how lucky I am. I could not be prouder. ❤️ These have been for me the most important learnings these years: - Have a vision of how you imagine the future of your team, and communicate clear & transparent to all members. Never loose your true objetive despite the obstacles, but always adapt the path. Involve your team along the way to ensure we all have a common target - Be coherent, your actions must be aligned to your words, to gain real trust and credibility. Be an example of what you want your team to be. - Understand that everybody is different, with different interests, ambitions, fears, desires and intentions. Take time to know individually each person. When you identify their strenghts, do all in your hands to give them opportunities to grow and shine - Create connections among the team, generate sense of belonging, foster links and collaborations - Listen, a lot. Best ideas comes from those that best know, just give space for them to propose. And be open to be corrected, you are not infallible Thanks my friends to "give me a bunch of hands" to help me on a new adventure

Thank you to everyone who joined us last week for another amazing dinner in San Francisco 🌟 can't wait for the next one! Folks at dinner shared some approaches to drive team outcomes: 🧩 Use the Outcomes, Perspective, Action (OPA) framework to guide team discussions and decision-making. 🎤 Use the Toastmaster meeting format (speaker, feedback, feedback on feedback) to improve communication and feedback processes. 🏆 Focus on both big and small tasks to build momentum. Use baby steps and celebrate small victories to drive progress. 🌐 Link the team’s work to broader goals and objectives. Find ways for the team to engage directly with customers to enhance their understanding of the impact of their work.
