Careers in education can be among the most rewarding ways to make a difference in the lives of others. Earning a degree in education is an important first step in becoming a teacher. But even if you don’t plan to teach in a traditional classroom setting, an education degree can be a stepping stone to a wide variety of careers in education, including education administration, school counseling, or even social work.

By becoming a teacher you'll get job satisfaction that few will experience. I remember being a kindergarden teacher and the best lessons I learned by working with kids. Other than parents, teachers have arguably the biggest influence on a child's life. The visible results you'll see from pupils are guaranteed to send you home with a sense of pride! Teachers spend their professional lives pushing against the limits of time, space, resources, and their own personal limitations. The best teachers can tell you right now a list of things they don't think they do well enough—yet. Some teachers can never make peace with the necessary compromises; they burn out. Teachers truly are the backbone of society. They are role models to children, offer guidance and dedication and give young people the power of education. Because of teachers, countries are able to further develop socially and economically. Being able to communicate efficiently and effectively is one of the keys to teacher strength. Teachers constantly communicate with parents and their students, so being able to engage others and share their opinions efficiently is crucial.
