Reflecting back on our company history. In 2009 , Our founder Marty Artis wrote a letter to the company as he explained the establishment of the business and the future in which he envisions for it.
He explains in his letter, “In 1989, I could not spend so much energy fighting. I wanted to invest the energy on building a business. I knew many of the right things to do, and many of the things not to do, again. So FRESH AIR MANUFACTURING COMPANY, or FAMCO, was created. It was to take care of both customers and employees. Both have needs, goals, and purpose. Customers want to know that some company is going to provide a good product at a fair price, and service to meet expectations. Employees want more than labor; they want to have a purpose. They want to know that what they do matters and that they are part of something bigger than themselves.”
We are happy to have his words as we can see his vision continue in the culture FAMCO has today.
