I'm what many may call a "loud introvert." . I treasure those silent intervals and the whispers of solitude, but when it's time to step up, oh, I bring it. . And speaking of bringing it, being part of the Tory Burch Foundation fellows program? . It's like finding your groove in a song that was written just for you. . We ended our official journey in the summer of 2022. But, let's be clear—it wasn't an ending. It was a powerful beginning. . The Tory Burch space wasn't just a program. It was a sisterhood, a community. It was a vibe of connection where we, as founders, just got each other. . We delved into our wins and our stumbles, laid bare our fears, and together, we found strength in our collective vulnerability. . It's where perspectives shifted and mindsets were solidified. It's where collaboration met transformation. . Major gratitude vibes for my Tory Burch sisters. They are the companions in this journey, the fellow warriors in this battle of impact. . As Firm for the Culture scales the heights, the vibe is less lone journey and more shared odyssey. We're moving, growing side by side, a crew of dynamic founders. We're here, making our marks, intent on shaping the narrative. . The journey? Owning our role is so very important. As Terry said, we have to own more than just our specific areas. I recently was at Harvard for our Physician Team Leadership meeting, and one of the professors described silos as “cylinders of excellence”. That really resonated with me. We often focus on our own space, but neglect to realize how that affects the rest of the organization. You can tend to your own space in the best way possible. But if you don’t recognize the importance of the big picture, and how your leadership affects the overall organization, you are still a renter. We published 184 new resources, blog posts, and articles this year, powered by the thought leadership of museum professionals like you. 🌐 Museum Junction Upgrade: The vibrant online hub of more than 60,000 museum professionals got a major facelift, with a more interactive experience, easy-to-navigate feed, and over a dozen new peer communities to find the discussions that matter most to you. 🚀 Future of Museums Summit: We hosted this inaugural, virtual summit in November focusing on professional development and key issues for museums to face the future, like rapid digital evolutions and repatriation practices.
