Statement by the World Roma Federation on the Global Forum of the Communities Discriminated on Work and Descent (CDWD) The World Roma Federation is pleased to report on our active participation in the recent Global Forum of the Communities Discriminated on Work and Descent. This pivotal event, held in collaboration with UN organizations and international agencies, was centered on advocating for the rights and recognition of communities subject to systemic discrimination, including the Roma. Our objective is to foster a unified global commitment to addressing the challenges faced by these communities. We have collaboratively begun drafting a joint statement that underscores our dedication to enhancing visibility, strengthening partnerships, and embedding intersectional approaches in our strategies. This document will guide our ongoing advocacy efforts, aiming to ensure that these communities are not left behind as we strive towards fulfilling the 2030 Agenda. We look forward to continued collaboration with all stakeholders to advance the rights and improve the lives of Communities Discriminated on Work and Descent globally. Thanks to the organizers.
