My reaction when I see a VA job posting and its qualifications😂. it's so funny because what do you mean 4-5 years experience for an entry level VA job😂 When did I even finish with alx_africa 😂. We should honestly normalize learning on the job or providing opportunities, no matter how little for people who just want to further their learning in a working space because what is all this stress. What exactly is out there for people with no experience that are open to learning and working. What is out there? #VirtualAssistant #Alx
😂😂😂the requirements are sometimes not mindful. And if they gave us beginners a chance to learn on the job they would be surprised by how productive and efficient we are.
This is so valid, and thank you for actually posting this. It just doesn't make any sense as to how difficult it is to get a job, like can they just not give us a chance, and the best part is that we are actually willing to learn as we work, just give us a chance.
Valid point! They will actually be amazed how well people with little or no experience will work better than people with 4-5 years of experience.
So well said Ife, like I’m trying to switch professions, give me a chance😂😂
How am I supposed to get experience if you won’t consider people that don’t have experience at all, so frustrating
The experience in particular may not be in VA actually but related field, for example administrative assistant, personal assistant to someone before.
On Point🔛👌
All we want is a person who believes in us and gives us a chance. Is that too much to ask?
I find it extremely interesting 😂 Coz not many people had virtual assistants until just a few years ago. So which one is 4-5 years??? 😭
